Welcome To My Website
Let Me Introduce Myself
After more than 15 years working as a journalist and award-winning designer for newspapers and magazines, I made the move into freelance lifestyle PR in 2005 to better balance my career with raising my children.
Hard to believe now, but back then Facebook was a mere baby, Instagram was still five years from inception and smartphones had yet to make their debut. However, as my industry quickly evolved I realised if I wanted to stay in the game my skillset had to evolve too. Through a blend of luck and intuition, I became an early adopter of social media, teaching myself how to survive and thrive on these burgeoning platforms.
Over the years, I have honed my expertise in content creation and social media management, working with leading brands such as Harvey Nichols, Heaven Skincare, Crowne Plaza and Radisson SAS Hotels, as well as many smaller, independent businesses.

A Passion For Great-Looking Design
Over the past few years, I have taught myself how to design and build websites with Wix, and have worked with numerous brands to create ones that perfectly reflect their businesses, from wellness centres and nutritionists to medical professionals and aesthetic clinics. I have also become a prolific blog writer for endless companies and agencies, and my journey of developing new skills reflects my adaptability and a passion to help others drive their business success. Because of this extensive experience I am uniquely positioned to share my knowledge and help you to harness the power of these platforms for business success.
Alongside this and uniquely tied to my design talents is my passion for individual interior décor. This comes from creating my own home on a budget, which has attracted more than 150,000 followers on Instagram and Threads.
It has become quite the cover star too, appearing in many UK magazines and online, including Period Homes, The Sunday Telegraph, Modern Gardens, Reclaim, Buzzfeed, Period Living, The Sunday Times, Real Homes and Red, as well as in the US in Origin and Flea Market Magazine.
"Lisa approaches features and interviews with a level of understanding and expertise that can only come with extensive experience of news journalism, consumer content writing and social media.
Away From The Office: Motherhood, Movement, Paint & Places
Away from my desk, my life is a mix of movement, colour and the people who matter most. I’m a mum of two fabulous grown-up children who make me proud in completely different ways.
My daughter, Scarlett, is a costume designer and fashion stylist with an eye for detail that constantly amazes me. My son, Noah, serves as a King’s Guard – a role that still gives me a little jolt of pride every time I see him in uniform. They’ve grown into their own lives now, but they’re the heartbeat behind everything I do.
Most weeks, you’ll find me hanging upside down at pole dance classes. I started on a whim and carried on because it makes me feel strong in a way nothing else does. There’s something addictive about learning a new spin or climb – the mix of technique, courage and the occasional ungraceful moment that ends in fits of laughter. It’s become my reset button, the place where my brain switches off and my body takes over.
When I’m not wrapped around a pole, I’m usually wrapped up in paint. I’ve fallen back in love with acrylic abstracts, the kind that let you explore a feeling rather than chase a perfect line. I love the freedom of it – building layers, choosing colours that clash on purpose, and stepping back to realise the canvas has started telling its own story. It’s messy and meditative in equal measures,
Travel is another thread running through my life. I love wandering around new places with my partner, with no real plan, soaking up textures, colours and moments that feed my creativity. Marrakech, especially, pulls me back again and again. The markets, the chaos, the patterns, the interiors, the colours that shouldn’t work but somehow do – it all lights me up and sends me home full of ideas.
All of these shape who I am behind the scenes. They keep me curious, open, and always on the lookout for beauty in unexpected corners.
